A £250 returnable Housekeeping Deposit is required for Brackenrigg House. This is held against your failure to take reasonable care of the property & its contents including, but not restricted to, excessive cleaning, damage or breakages & will be returned in full unless any of these occur, in which case a deduction may be made. We normally take this from your card prior to arrival.

Excessive cleaning is defined as cleaning over & above our normal clean. £50 will be charged for each additional hour, or part thereof. Damages & breakages must be paid for in full. (we do not charge for minor breakages for example a wine glass, a plate)

We do not allow charging of electric vehicles

We do not allow sleeping in vehicles, including vans, camper vans or mobile homes or camping in tents under any circumstances. If you need more sleeping capacity, you should enquire to book more accommodation.

The stated number of guests in each cottage must not be exceeded. No additional non-paying guests are permitted on site, except by priori arrangement. Normally, up to 2 visiting friends may be allowed, as long as there is no additional noise, and such guests do not stay beyond 10pm.
